County Re-launches Junk Vehicles Disposal Assistance Program

The County of Maui Department of Environmental Management is re-launching the Junk Vehicles Disposal Assistance Program on September 4, 2018. Under this program, residents will be able to dispose of one vehicle per year at no charge. Owners will be required to register their vehicles as “Permanently Junked” with the Department of Motor Vehicles and Licensing and deliver their vehicles to Hammerhead Metals Recycling facility in the Central Maui Baseyard.
