Former president George Herbert Walker Bush died on Friday.
According to his office, the former president was hospitalized at Houston Methodist Hospital due to an infection that spread to his blood. His hospitalization came just one day after he laid his wife of 73 years, former First Lady Barbara Bush, to rest. He was 93.
Bush was the 41st President of the United States from 1989 to 1993. Prior to assuming the presidency, Bush served as the 43rd Vice President of the United States from 1981 to 1989.
