Suspect Sought in Kahului Break-Ins

The Maui Police Department is seeking public help in identifying a male suspect who entered two homes on West Lanai Street in Kahului on July 22 at approximately 5:30 a.m.

Authorities say the suspects is between 17 and 23-years-old. He is described as Polynesian/Filipino and between 5-foot-3-inches and 5-foot-5-inches tall and weights about 150 pounds with a medium built. The male suspect has brown eyes and black hair with a thin mustache.

He was seen wearing a dark colored sweatshirt/hoodie with Japanese symbols, a black cap and dark pants.
