Teens Arrested in Connection to Terroristic Threat at Maui High School

On the morning of February 4, 2020, the Maui Police Department Juvenile Division Officers arrested two, sixteen-year-old males and one fifteen-year-old male for Terroristic Threatening in the First Degree.

Investigation reveals that the three juvenile males conspired and posted on social media they would “shoot up the school” (Maui High School), and made threats towards two victims, also juvenile males.  

The juvenile males were processed and released to their guardians.

Maui Police Department is working with Maui High School and said that they take all threats seriously, and will investigate and seek prosecution in these types of cases.  

The public is encouraged to report crimes and students are encouraged to utilize “Text a Tip”.
