MFD Crews Battle Wailuku Blaze

The Maui Fire Department responded to a structure fire on Ono Street in Wailuku on Wednesday.

MFD personnel responded on the scene following a 3:56 a.m. alarm to find a single-family dwelling fully involved that was in close proximity to other area homes.

By 6:41 a.m., the blaze had been deemed extinguished.

The home was not occupied at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported.

MFD continues to investigate the cause of the blaze.
